2015 • Fiji • The Yasawa Islands, located west of Fiji, are highly vulnerable to cyclones due to their geographic location in the South Pacific's tropical cyclone belt. Since many communities rely on tourism and subsistence fishing, storm damage can disrupt livelihoods for months or even years.
